The biggest claims, the thinnest proof

Humanin and epitalon are animal-and-cell stories whose human data is observational at best, meaning your own levels of them fall as you age, which is a clue, not a treatment result.

That’s the shape of the whole cluster: a plausible mechanism, encouraging animal work, and a human column that is still mostly blank. The part worth being excited about is that the column is finally filling in, on a clock. MOTS-c’s trial is the first domino, and SS-31’s healthy-aging studies are recruiting now. This is a field getting its first real human answers, not one that already struck out.
